ReboundTAG Terms and Conditions
Please read this document carefully. As a customer, a visitor to this site and/or a registered user of ReboundTAG’s products you will be deemed to accept and to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
The use of ReboundTAG’s goods and services and in particular the luggage tags (“the Tag(s)”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions and in registering to the service you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
Note that the Tags are micro chipped identification tags designed to facilitate the recovery and return of lost or misdirected items of luggage and ReboundTAG accepts no liability for the misfeasance, negligence, delays or default caused by any third parties including airlines, couriers and other intermediaries which result in loss or damage to any luggage or the failure to return any such items whether or not they are properly tagged.
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions of Use are intended to bind all persons who purchase Tag(s), access any part of ReboundTAG's web site or use or register any Luggage and/or subscribe to the services provided by ReboundTAG (“the User(s)”).
ReboundTAG reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notice.
Delivery Policy
For B2C customers from our website tags will be delivered using the standard mail service, either Royal Mail, the US Postal Service, or whatever is relevant for your region. Packages will be sent out within 4 working days. For B2B customers we can arrange whatever delivery is preferable for you, usually by courier.
Refund Policy
We comply with all UK and European law on refund policies.
Intellectual Property
ReboundTAG is a registered trade name and ReboundTAG owns the worldwide intellectual property rights in the brand name and all products, Tags, marketing materials, logos and systems produced and sold or provided by ReboundTAG and the copying, reproduction, publication, sale and distribution of any such materials is prohibited without obtaining ReboundTAG’s prior written consent.
Insurance Services
ReboundTAG often partners with insurance companies that can provide baggage and/or travel insurance with the Tag. The insurance is always provided upon the standard terms and conditions of the insurance company in question and the Customer should read these before agreeing to them. ReboundTAG is not responsible for the quality or performance of any insurance companies that we partner with. ReboundTAG accepts no additional or alternative responsibility or liability for any losses arising from the loss of or damage to any bag or any Tag. It is the responsibility of the User to make arrangements for the annual renewal of the Luggage Insurance and to pay the premium for such renewal at the User’s expense (unless otherwise agreed under special arrangements made by the User with a third party).
Registration
On registering a Tag the User must provide ReboundTAG with accurate and complete registration information and it is the User’s responsibility to inform ReboundTAG of any changes to that information (including contact details).
Whilst ReboundTAG will use reasonable endeavours to keep the personal information of all Users confidential it will not be liable in respect of any unauthorised access being gained to it’s website. It is the responsibility of the initial Users to keep their password confidential. Any unauthorised use of your account or your password should be notified to ReboundTAG immediately.
Services (Important)
The functionality of the ReboundTAG is as it is described in the official sales literature and the website at reboundtag.com. We are not responsible for the representations made by either other companies about ReboundTAG or those selling ReboundTAG. If you have questions about the functionality of ReboundTAG please read the FAQs on the website or contact Rebound directly.
Users rights to use the tracking services provided by ReboundTAG are subject to payment of membership fees and renewals and no services will be provided by ReboundTAG if the renewal fees have not been paid.
ReboundTAG will monitor but is not responsible for the behaviour of other users of its website or the quality or content of the messages they may send to the owner of any bag which may be traced. ReboundTAG will pass on to the User such information as may be received by it from any baggage handling company or other source relating to the recovery and return of any bag but shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in the information supplied by any third party in relation to any such recovery or return. If the services involve the baggage handling companies contacting the User directly to provide them with information regarding the whereabouts of their luggage and other relevant information then ReboundTAG is not responsible for the quality of the information provided or the nature of the data that is provided. ReboundTAG endeavours to partner with the best baggage handling companies available but they are not able to find the details on lost luggage from every airline in the world.
ReboundTAG will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the website and server is available for the transmission of emails, the maintenance of the security of its databases and the operation of the services it provides at all times. However, any failure of the server to provide these services may be beyond our control and ReboundTAG cannot therefore be held liable for any failure or disruption to the service.
ReboundTAG endeavours to provide the best possible services to its Members and therefore changes the nature of its services from time to time. ReboundTAG reserves the right to change the services offered without notifying the Users, especially with respect to the services that revolve around information provided by baggage handling companies.
Branded Tags
When ReboundTAG produces branded tags for customers, we endeavour with our manufacturers to get the colours as close as possible, but there may be slight discrepancies. Deliveries are almost always on time, but there are times when there may be delays; ReboundTAG is not responsible for any delays in orders whatsoever the cause. ReboundTAG works closely with manufacturers to ensure that each and every product is to the highest quality, but on the rare occasions a tag is not to our high standards, we reserve the right to replace this particular unit(s) rather than the complete order being rejected.
General
The total liability of ReboundTAG is restricted to the refund of the cost of products or service purchased from us. No other direct or indirect liability is assumed or implied. Your statutory rights are not affected.
ReboundTAG endeavours to deliver on time with every single order, but is not responsible if an order is delayed, regardless of the cause of the delay.
Users and buyers agree not to reverse engineer either the physical ReboundTAG product or the system, or allow any other company, individual, or organisation to do so, and if they do so will be responsible for all profits lost by ReboundTAG or gained by said company, individual or organisation.
ReboundTAG reserves the right to change its terms and conditions and privacy policy from time to time without notifying the Users.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
The parties agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, which may arise out of, under or in connection with these terms, or the legal relationship established by them and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the English courts. Users may not assign or otherwise transfer any rights under these terms.
